Akai mpc 2 live4/30/2023 ![]() ![]() (the One only has 1x midi in, 1x midi out, 1 set of inputs, 1 set of outputs, and 1 usb port while the Live has 2x midi in/out, 2x stereo inputs, 3x stereo outputs and 2 usb ports) The Live also has WiFi and Bluetooth while the One only has ethernet.īut other than that, the One is no slouch in anyway. I'd say if you're after portability then it's a no brainer or if you need more ins and outs ![]() The battery is the big thing, I like going out on the step or whatever with the Live but if I was just in the studio, it's the One all day. I also prefer the clicky buttons on the One over the squishy buttons on the Live for some reason. The smaller pads don't bother me at all and I can bounce from one to the other without a hitch and it doesn't feel awkward.īut yeah, there's a few shortcuts with the buttons on the One that the Live's are missing. If my One was as portable, it would be my go to every time. So I'm missing the speakers that the Live 2 has. ![]()
